Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Belton, MO. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings, while collaborating with Center Manager and Center Physician.

Requirements include EMT-B/Paramedic or Nursing licensure, CPR/AED certification, and experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• EMT-B/paramedic licensure or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• RN/LPN license where applicable; nursing program completion.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent processes.
• Manage donor adverse events and medical issues at the center.
• Review laboratory results and notify donors of outcomes.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health safety for staff.
• Ensure compliance with plasma collection regulations and SOPs.
