Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EMT-B to respond to both non-emergent and emergent medical transport requests in a hospital setting and when needed in pre-hospital environments. You will perform BLS patient assessments, document care, and ensure equipment and vehicles are ready for rapid response.

The role requires MA Basic EMT certification, a valid MA driver’s license, and strong communication with teams across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current MA Basic EMT Certification.
• Massachusetts Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to requests for non-emergent and emergency calls.
• Completes PCR documentation accurately and timely.
• Renders pre-hospital care at EMT-B level and performs BLS assessments.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment ready for response.
• Cross-trained to assist in Emergency Department when needed.
