Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT-P) to respond to non-emergent and emergent transport requests, primarily in a hospital setting, with pre-hospital duties as needed. The role requires current MA Paramedic EMT certification and BLS/ACLS, and involves safe patient transport to appropriate facilities.

You will maintain accurate PCR documentation, ensure vehicle readiness, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current MA Paramedic EMT Certification.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS; PALS certification optional.
• Holds MA driver's license.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to non-emergent and emergency calls via dispatcher.
• Follows state/local laws and operates ambulance/vehicle safely.
• Completes electronic PCR and department checklists accurately.
• Maintains vehicle readiness and stock of equipment.
• Performs EMT-P level pre-hospital care and ALS assessments.
• Collaborates with hospital staff and EMS partners.
