Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an EMT-B to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical transport, primarily in hospital settings with prehospital duties as needed. You will perform safe patient transport, complete required documentation, and stay ready for rapid deployment.

Responsibilities include high-quality patient assessments, adherence to Massachusetts EMS protocols, and coordination with hospital staff.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate 1 EMT Basic License required.
• Certificate 2 Basic Life Support required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Current MA EMT License and MA Driver's License required.
• Experience with web-based applications and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Respond promptly to non-emergent and emergency calls as directed by the dispatcher.
• Perform pre-hospital care at EMT-B level and complete BLS patient assessments.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, equipment checks, and accurate documentation.
• Communicate clearly via radio and reports; adhere to state protocols.
• Collaborate with hospital staff, EMS, and other providers in patient transport.
