Qualifications

• EMT licensure in applicable state (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P)
• Current CPR and AED certification
• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing or medical background ok
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist requirements
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history
• Evaluate donor reactions and respond to medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable
• Assist with environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidance and investigations
