Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and ensure donor safety. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and respond to donor needs under Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nurse education preferred.
• Current EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P license in the state of responsibility; RN/LPN/LVN licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees; ensure donor safety.
• Manage incidents and coordinate with EHS for occupational health issues.
