Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, review test results, and support plasma center operations under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, safety, and patient care within a Takeda-affiliated framework.

The position requires EMT licensure (EMT-B/ADT/I/P), CPR/AED, nursing licensure where applicable, and prior clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current EMT licensure in state of responsibility (EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I or EMT-P).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• LPN/LVN or RN license in state of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical examination.
• Manage donor adverse events and refer to Center Physician as needed.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities.
• Assist with environmental, health and safety guidance at center.
