Requirements include EMT licensure or nursing credentials, CPR/AED, FDA training, and at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• EMT licensure in relevant states (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P) or RN/LPN/LVN with state requirements.
• CPR/AED certification current.
• Background in clinical assessment and donor safety protocols.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent per SOPs.
• Manage donor adverse events and medical issues per Center guidance.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable findings.
• Notify donors of test results and ensure proper follow-up.
