Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; graduates of a recognized nursing program meet the state requirements.
• Licensed/certified EMTs (B, A, I, P) or licensed nurses (LPN/LVN/RN) as applicable.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completion.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, physical exams, and laboratory review.
• Evaluate and respond to donor adverse events per SOPs and arrange emergency transport if needed.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or medical/technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu where applicable.
• Manage occupational health incidents following EHS guidance.
