Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Arlington, TX seeks an EMT-focused Medical Support Specialist to assist in plasma center operations. You will assess donor eligibility and ensure donor safety while supporting the donation process that enables life-changing therapies.

You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage adverse events, and coordinate with the Center Physician and EHS guidance. This role offers meaningful healthcare work with steady scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P licensure in applicable state.
• RN/LPN/LVN licensure may be applicable depending on role.
• CPR and AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and testing.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support EHS guidance and vaccination programs as applicable.
