Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety in a plasma center environment. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician for operational and medical guidance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Role requires EMT licensure in the applicable state, CPR/AED, and at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in the state of responsibility: EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P, LPN/LVN, or RN.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Current CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and physical exam.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
