Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an EMT-qualified Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility and monitor safety during plasma donation. You will review test results, manage adverse events, and coordinate urgent care when needed.

Reporting to the Center Manager, you will ensure compliance with regulations, assist with vaccination programs, and support environmental health and safety activities. This role requires multiple EMT licenses and healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in the state of responsibilities: EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN, or RN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and donor history.
• Assess donor safety and manage potential adverse events.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results.
• Coordinate donor transport for medical emergencies as needed.
• Support EHS and engage with Medical Affairs on medical guidance.
