Job summary

Octapharma Plasma is seeking a Donor Center team member responsible for evaluating donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and administering approved immunizations. This role includes providing limited emergency care, training staff, and ensuring SOP, cGMP, and regulatory compliance across center operations.

You will review donor records, monitor for adverse reactions, and coordinate with a center physician on abnormal results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program with licensure.
• Certified/licensed as EMT or equivalent if allowed by state.
• Current state license/certification and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and consent discussions.
• Review and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as trained.
• Consult with center physician on abnormal results and eligibility concerns.
• Counsel deferred donors and maintain confidentiality; refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a donor-focused environment.
