Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Medical Professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide emergency care per licensure. The role requires knowledge of SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines, with oversight of donor care across center operations.

The position supports continuous training, QA backup duties, and mentorship of staff, ensuring a compliant and donor-focused center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a healthcare program and licensed as physician, RN or EMT.
• Current state license/certification valid for the work state.
• 1 year hospital or plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification on active status.
• Authorization for moderate complexity testing as allowed by state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physicals, and consent per SOPs.
• Review immunization records and test results in the donor system NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions with appropriate care.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation like Physician Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and QA backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
