Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a Donor Center Technician I to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and supervise immunizations per SOPs and state regulations. You will ensure cGMP compliance, document test results, and collaborate with Licensed Physicians to maintain donor safety.

The role requires healthcare licensure, CPR, and the ability to work day/evening shifts, with training and mentorship responsibilities to develop a compliant, donor-focused center.

Qualifications

• Licensed healthcare professional (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT) per state.
• Current CPR certification.
• State license to perform moderate complexity testing.
• 1 year experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history and assessments.
• Review immunization records and test results.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with Licensed Physician on abnormal results.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments.
• Maintain Physician Communication Logs and eligibility docs.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as Designated Trainer.
• Support SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with team for donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
