Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks an experienced healthcare professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, manage immunization administration per SOPs, and provide limited emergency care as licensed. Role requires knowledge of donor operations, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines.

You will review donor data in NexLynk, monitor for adverse reactions, and collaborate with center physicians. The position includes training responsibilities and QA backup duties within a team-focused

Qualifications

• Healthcare graduate with appropriate license/certification.
• One year hospital or plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• State-issued license/certification as allowed by state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments and informed consent discussions per SOPs, FDA, CLIA and cGMP.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records and test results in NexLynk.
• Monitor donor programs and manage adverse reactions within scope of training and licensure.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments as needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Communications Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to maintain donor-focused environment.
