Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide limited emergency care under licensure. You will work with SOPs, cGMP, and FDA/CLIA guidelines, ensuring donor safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves training, QA backup duties, and mentoring new medical staff, with collaboration across center operations to maintain an efficient, donor-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• Current state license/certification (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT or equivalent).
• Current CPR certification.
• 1 year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history, physicals, and consent.
• Review and verify donor information and immunization records.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and provide care per training/licensure.
• Consult with center physician on abnormal results and orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs.
• Assist as Donor Center Technician I and QA backup as needed.
• Mentor and train new medical staff as designated trainer.
• Support SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for donor-focused center operations.
