Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Medical Professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations and provide licensed care per SOPs. The role covers supervision of SOPs, cGMP and regulatory guidelines, with collaboration across center operations.

You will review donor records, immunizations and test results in NexLynk, consult with a center physician on complex cases, and train others while ensuring donor safety and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license or certification as defined by the state of employment.
• 1 year hospital or field care experience; plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• State license to perform moderate complexity testing as allowed by state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments and consent discussions per SOPs, FDA, CLIA and cGMP.
• Review and verify donor information, immunization records and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions with appropriate care.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
