Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to evaluate donors for automated plasmapheresis. The role includes administering and supervising approved immunizations under state regulations and SOPs, with limited emergency care as permitted by licensure and training.

Qualifications

• Physician, LPN, or RN: graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions in accordance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk).
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed.
