Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (EMT compatible) to determine donor eligibility and oversee safety during the plasma donation process. You will evaluate donor reactions, review test results, and coordinate with the Center Physician for medical issues.

The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with BioLife Medical Affairs and EHS. A pathway to growth and comprehensive benefits is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Current EMT license or higher (state requirements).
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Basic IV therapy eligibility per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility following informed consent and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities.
• Assist with environmental, health and safety guidance as needed.
