Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks an EMT–level Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and donor safety. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage adverse events, and communicate outcomes to donors in a compliant, patient‑focused environment.

Under guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician, you will follow SOPs, assist with vaccines, and participate in occupational health initiatives while contributing to Takeda's mission and patient care

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT licensure in applicable state.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of donor screening and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow SOPs and report medical issues.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma.
• Manage donor adverse events.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate outcomes.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and donor transport.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Report employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health.
