Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Fire Science, Public Administration, Emergency Medicine, or Management with 5 years EMS/fire experience.
• Licenses: NH Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials - Operations, NH Driver's License, Hazardous Materials Decontamination, Paramedic, NH EMS Providers License.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting, records management, and modern EMS/firefighting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for the department EMS program.
• Develop and evaluate EMS training courses and curriculum to meet state/national requirements.
• Assist in budget preparation and procurement; manage records of EMS training.
• Supervise department personnel and evaluate performance.
• Liaise with New Hampshire Fire Standards and Training and Medical Control Boards.
• Serve as Unit Controlled Drug Coordinator (UCDC) and Privacy & Compliance Officer.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor departmental resources and training activities.
