Job summary

REV Renewables is seeking a seasoned Energy Platform Manager to lead the Energy Management Systems for a hybrid role in Houston. You will own the ETRM platform, supervise development work, and ensure accurate, auditable trade capture, valuation, and reporting.

This role blends architecture, data engineering, and hands-on coding with governance responsibilities. You will mentor a small team, coordinate with traders and IT, and help scale the platform to support growth in wholesale markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with core ETRM components and quality control.
• Strong Python background; time-series data handling and API development.
• Ownership of production systems; knowledge of security, access controls, and compliance.
• Excellent communicator; ability to translate front-office needs to IT/infrastructure teams.
• Preferred: machine learning experience; Kubernetes/cloud-native DevOps; US power market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quant and Systems Developer; set priorities and backlogs.
• Provide hands-on support to platform users and raise technical bar.
• Own trade capture, position management, valuation, and risk analytics components.
• Define guardrails and standards for safe, scalable user-built solutions.
• Oversee governance, security, access provisioning, and audit trails.
