Executive Search Partners Inc. seeks a hands-on Energy Management Systems Manager to own and evolve the front‑office ETRM platform for a technology‑focused energy trading team in Houston.

This hybrid manager/individual‑contributor role will lead a Quant & Systems Developer and oversee platform architecture, trade capture, position management, valuation, settlements, and reporting. You will ensure secure, auditable data flows for trading, dispatch, risk, and finance, while managing governance,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience owning production trading, ETRM, or energy‑management systems.
• Strong Python, data engineering, API, and time‑series/dataframe experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. power markets and energy trading workflows preferred.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/CI/CD, FastAPI, Streamlit, Dagster, Pandas, or Polars is a plus.
• Proven technical leadership, strong communication skills, and a willingness to operate in a lean, high‑accountability environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform roadmap, development priorities, coding standards, code reviews, testing, and release controls.
• Build and maintain core ETRM capabilities, including trade capture, positions, valuation, risk analytics, settlements, and reporting.
• Ensure reliable, secure, auditable data flows for trading, dispatch, risk, and finance.
• Manage platform governance, user access, security, incident response, and business continuity.
• Partner closely with trading, quant, analytics, and IT teams; support users ranging from dashboard and Excel users to developers.
