Job summary

STX Group in Houston is seeking a Trading Systems Analyst to oversee our Energy Trading and Risk Management Platform, ensuring trades, positions, and PnL are accurately reflected. You will work with the U.S.

Renewable Natural Gas desk and collaborate with Operations and Portfolio Management to maintain system integrity. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and Python skills, and an interest in environmental commodities.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, math, business, or related major is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Excel (and/or VBA) and Python is important.

Responsibilities

• Trade capture and entry to Datahive (ETRM) and the Commercial Dashboard.
• Datahive allocation and matching of buys and sells with Portfolio Manager guidance.
• Coordinate with counterparties on forecasts, nominations, and volumes.
• Align with Operations to ensure intra-day accuracy of book positions and PnL.
• Produce monthly Payment Packages and summarize trade obligations.
• Support reconciliation with Operations, Risk, and the Portfolio Manager.
