Position Summary
The EMS & Outreach Program Manager provides leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for Emergency Medical Services ( EMS ), American Heart Association ( AHA ), community outreach, and emergency care education programs within the Center for Continuing Education ( CCE ). Reporting directly to the Director of Operations and Program Administration ( DOPA ), this position is responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and continuous improvement of EMS and outreach programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, institutional policies, and departmental procedures.
The EMS & Outreach Program Manager serves as the functional leader of the EMS & Outreach program area and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of EMS education, AHA Training Center operations, community outreach initiatives, emergency preparedness training, and emergency care education programs. The position leads staff, supports instructors and community partners, promotes program quality, monitors program performance, and oversees successful implementation of program initiatives.

Preferred Education
Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Leadership, EMS Administration, Organizational leadership, or a related field.

- Familiarity with continuing education accreditation requirements and educational activity management.

- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and performance management practices.
