Job summary

Mercy Health System is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor EMT/Paramedic to lead in pre-hospital care settings. You will perform direct patient care, assess and evaluate patients, and instruct EMTs and Paramedics in inservice training while supervising daily operations.

Responsibilities include making operational decisions in the absence of management, acting as a preceptor for EMT/Paramedic students, and handling clerical and maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• EMT-Paramedic licensure in the state of practice.
• Hazmat awareness, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months.
• 3 years Paramedic experience and leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care including assessment and life support.
• Supervise EMTs and Paramedics in pre-hospital care.
• Instruct EMT/Paramedic students and lead inservice training.
• Make operational decisions in absence of regional management.
• Handle clerical and maintenance duties as assigned.
