Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Supervisor-EMS Operations to oversee daily field operations and support EMS personnel in pre-hospital care and transport. You will respond to scenes as needed, perform direct patient care, and supervise EMT/Paramedic students during shifts on an ambulance.

The role emphasizes Mercy's values, safety, and professional conduct. Requires Paramedic license, 5 years of EMS field experience, Hazmat awareness, ACLS at hire and PALS within 6 months, plus strong physical stamina to work

Qualifications

• Paramedic license valid for the state of practice and a valid driver's license.
• 5 years of EMS field experience.
• Hazmat awareness level training; ACLS at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and support EMS personnel in pre-hospital triage, emergency medical care and transport.
• Respond to scenes as necessary and perform direct patient care including assessment and life support.
• Act as preceptor for EMT and Paramedic students; perform clerical and maintenance duties as needed.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy philosophy, standards of care, and safety requirements.
