Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Paramedic Operations Supervisor to oversee EMS operations on Long Island. The role involves supervising shifts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating training and schedule management.

You will respond to calls, give advanced life support, and supervise clinical care with a focus on patient outcomes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Paramedic, 2+ years in EMS supervision, and holds NY EMT-P certification with BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years as a Paramedic including emergency, non-emergency, and inter-facility transport.
• Minimum of two years as an EMS supervisor or field training officer (or equivalent).
• New York State EMT-P (Paramedic) certification in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls, providing BLS/ALS care and transportation to facilities.
• Serve as a paramedic on emergency and non-emergency calls as needed.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance across operations, including admin and supply needs.
• Attend continuing education and coordinate shift trainings.
• Create and maintain monthly shift schedules with the operations team.
• Assist with employee training, evaluations, and coaching.
• Review charts and data to ensure clinical care quality.
• Collaborate with leadership on administrative and operational initiatives.
