Catholic Health's Nursing Supervisors lead staffing and patient care in busy units on Long Island. You will adjust staffing by patient needs, supervise staff by matching competencies, and support unit leadership with system improvement.

Required are a BSN, NY RN license, BLS and ACLS, with MSN preferred. You will use strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork to enhance patient safety and satisfaction while ensuring efficient operations.

Formación

• BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
• New York RN license and registration.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Leadership and strong communication and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Adjust staffing by assessing patients’ needs.
• Assigns or re-assigns staff based on competencies.
• Supports NM in unit management and leadership development.
• Investigates, completes, communicates actions of required reports.
• Intervenes in administrative problems as they arise.
• Enhances patient satisfaction by investigating patient/family concerns and taking action.
• Communicates with administrators to provide guidance during events.
• Supports coordination for ED admissions and in-house transfers.
