The Johns Hopkins University seeks an Emergency Medical Services Supervisor within Johns Hopkins Public Safety to oversee HERO, the university’s student EMS program, and to supervise volunteer EMTs while ensuring MIEMSS compliance and continuous quality improvement.

You will coordinate EMT training, onboarding and continuing education, and foster collaboration with campus departments and local public safety partners to ensure high-quality emergency medical services across the university

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in EMS, Fire Science, Organizational Leadership or related field.
• Four years of EMS experience within a 911 response system.
• Two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Education may substitute for experience per JHU policy.

Aufgaben

• Provide operational supervision and mentorship to HERO volunteer EMTs and student leadership.
• Participate in QA/QI initiatives including chart review and clinical performance improvement.
• Ensure MIEMSS and Johns Hopkins policies compliance.
• Coordinate EMT training, onboarding, CE, and remediation activities.
• Support HERO’s ongoing policy development and continuity planning.

EMS experience (911 system)

Maryland EMT-Basic

AHA BLS CPR

Maryland driver's license

Associates Degree in EMS / related field

Bachelor’s degree in EMS / related field (preferred)
