Advocate Health is seeking a dynamic EMS operations leader to oversee daily EMS activities and fleet management within a full-time role. The position emphasizes supervision, resource coordination during incidents, and the development of operational protocols to ensure safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of EMS experience, including supervisory responsibilities, EMT-Paramedic certification, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in EMS or related field required.
• 3–5 years of EMS experience, including 2 years supervisory experience.
• Certification by the state Medical Board as an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic.
• Active driver's license required.
• CPR, ACLS, BLS/HCP, PHTLS, PALS or equivalent certifications may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and coordinates all aspects of the daily operations of EMS.
• Plans, specifies and manages fleet purchase, refurbishing and disposal.
• Provides primary command and leadership of EMS resources during major incidents or EOC activations.
• Oversees development, monitoring and enforcement of operational protocols and procedures.
• Coordinates and oversees purchase and maintenance of durable equipment and distribution of supplies.
• Schedules and documents vehicle maintenance to meet industry standards.
• Facilitates delivery of supplies and equipment to satellite bases and vehicles.
• Oversees maintenance of department equipment and coordinates repairs with service vendors.
• Researches operational equipment and procedures to maximize safety and efficiency of EMS operations.
• Oversees departmental safety program and safety compliance.
