Job summary

MMT Ambulance in Missouri seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead EMS field operations, supervise staff, ensure patient care quality, and maintain equipment readiness. You will coordinate staffing, training, and adherence to EMS protocols across pre-hospital and inter-facility transports.

The role requires active EMS certification (EMT/Paramedic) with leadership experience, strong communication, and ability to manage high-stress scenarios while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current CPR
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• ACLS (AHA) or ALS certification recommended; Paramedic/ CCP preferred
• Current state EMS certification or NREMT with reciprocity
• EMT/Paramedic license for state of employment
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures
• Experience in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings

Responsibilities

• Lead and train EMS personnel and students; supervise field operations
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMS charts and payroll-related paperwork
• Provide direct patient care and oversee ambulance transport operations
• Maintain vehicle readiness and equipment inspection routines
• Adhere to policies, protocols, and safety regulations
• Coordinate lift assists and deployment as needed
• Foster teamwork and professional conduct across shifts
