Job summary

Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service of Wisconsin, Inc. seeks an Educator to conduct EMS Initial Education and/or AHA courses, developing lesson plans and validating student completion according to local, state, and accrediting guidelines.

You will document outcomes, support program goals, and coordinate with faculty and management to ensure high-quality education and compliance across all classrooms and laboratories.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED; higher-level coursework preferred.
• Work Experience: 3 years EMS education; AHA instruction preferred.
• Contacts and Communications: Interpersonal skills; ability to present to wide audiences.
• Analytical Demands: Validate competencies; quizzes and high-stakes exam review.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint; Platinum Education and FISDAP preferred.
• Certification, Licensure, Registration: Current EMS license; Wisconsin EMS Instructor II; AHA BLS for EMR/EMT; ACLS/BLS/PALS for Paramedic instructors.
• Other Qualifications: Able to report on-time with flexible scheduling incl weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in curriculum development and evaluation to maintain education quality.
• Assist new faculty in orientation to Company procedures and classroom tools.
• Coordinate and oversee new student orientation with Education Manager.
• Schedule and host Guest Lecturers or arrange appropriate accommodations.
• Evaluate lesson plans, schedules, syllabi, and examinations per guidelines.
• Monitor attendance and document absences in electronic records.
• Submit final gradebook within 48 hours after course completion.
• Maintain lab/clinical paperwork with valid preceptor signatures.
