Job summary

Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management is seeking an EMS Instructor to develop and deliver instructional content, assist with prehospital clinical instruction, and support community outreach events.

Responsibilities include coordinating course scheduling, maintaining records, and aiding with equipment setup and training spaces, with travel as needed. This is an hourly, open-til-filled role serving Wisconsin communities.

Qualifications

• Requires Wisconsin residency and a valid driver’s license.
• Paramedic license with MC LCA eligibility.
• At least two years EMS experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to travel ~75% of time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructional EMS content and courses.
• Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and course records.
• Represent OEM at public events, health fairs and safety initiatives.
• Support Clinician Development Manager with records and policies.
