Job summary

AmeriPro Health seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily EMS field operations and act as a liaison between field staff and departments. The role ensures coverage, protocol compliance, and efficiency while responding to critical incidents.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years EMS field experience, current Paramedic licensure, NREMT certification, and CPR/ACLS/PALS training. A strong leadership and organizational skill set is required to support a 48/96 shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years EMS field experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing.
• Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state).
• Current CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS, PHTLS/BTLS certifications.
• Valid State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day field operation employees in the absence of senior management.
• Ensures field employees have required equipment to perform duties.
• Acts as liaison for field staff to Training, CQI, Payroll, HR, Billing, and Communications.
• Prepares paperwork involving incidents, breakdowns, investigations, and daily shift activities.
• Maintains daily schedule and resolves discrepancies.
• Keeps training and maintenance records up to date and compliant.
• Ensures units have adequate supplies and orders supplies as needed.
• Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and patient care protocols.
• Assists Director in evaluating employee performance and maintaining certifications.
• Oversees deployment and efficiency of the system; participates in Mass Casualty Incident coordination.
• Participates in the Paramedic Job Description duties when required.
• Acts in cost-effective, efficient management within financial/operational plans.
