Job summary

Priority OnDemand in California seeks an EMT-Paramedic or RN instructor to lead the NEOP and EMS Academy programs, delivering instruction and coordinating continuing education. You will track participation using a recordkeeping system and ensure compliance with policies.

You will schedule clinical CE courses (CPR, ACLS, EMT refresher), assist with in-house or contracted EMS Academy offerings, and travel across San Bernardino County to support training initiatives.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required and current licensure.
• Minimum two years EMS training and field experience.
• Ability to teach and mentor adult learners.
• Proficient in ambulance patient care field documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel around San Bernardino County.

Responsibilities

• Instruct NEOP and EMS Academy programs, including CEVO/EVOC drivers training.
• Schedule and conduct required clinical continuing education (CPR, ACLS, EMT refresher).
• Assist with EMS Academy programs in-house or with outside institutions.
• Recruit through local EMS classes, conferences, and career days.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and privacy of patient information.
• Assist in auditing patient care documentation and protocols.
• Support development of annual training plans and materials.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
