Emergency Telecommunicator Services is seeking skilled Emergency Medical Dispatchers for Mechanicsburg, PA. You will handle urgent calls, verify locations, and assign appropriate medical resources while following established protocols.

Role requires high school diploma and dispatcher certifications; CPR may be required. Training and certifications may be provided by the employer, with opportunities for ongoing education and shift work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification may be required or sponsored training provided.
• CPR certification may be required; EMT/paramedic credentials are not universally required.

Responsabilités

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm the patient’s location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about the patient’s condition.
• Determine response priority through the authorized medical dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources when included in the assignment.
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responding personnel.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
