Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN EMS Dispatcher to join the Louisville, KY team. The role involves coordinating with EMS crews for patient transport to and from Baptist Health facilities.

You will ensure accurate documentation, stay current with EPIC and EMS reporting tools, and protect PHI while communicating clearly and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with EMT education preferred and a CADS certification within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, EMT education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products.
• Must obtain CADS within 1 year from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patient transport needs.
• Maintain accuracy and expediency of collating documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of EPIC software and EMS patient care reporting tools.
