Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a PRN EMS Dispatcher to support its EMS Ambulance Service. The role involves coordinating communications with EMS crews for patient transport and maintaining accurate documentation across the EMS system.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of dispatch experience, and familiarity with MS Office. EMT education is preferred and a CADS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

The position of EMSDispatcheris responsible forcommunications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patients requiring transportation services to and/or from a Baptist Healthcare facility.They maintain overall accuracy and expediency of collating documentation.They mustmaintaincurrent knowledge of EPIC software along with specialized products related to EMS patient care reporting.This positionis responsible forthe integrity of dataregardingthe System Service Center EMS Dispatch Center. Theymust practice outstandingskillat protecting PHI and have exemplary communication and prioritization skills.
