Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a PRN EMS Dispatcher to join our EMS Ambulance Service. The role involves coordinating with field crews to arrange patient transport to Baptist Health facilities while ensuring data accuracy and PHI protection.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of EPIC and EMS reporting tools, prioritizing urgent communications, and working to ensure timely dispatch. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of dispatch experience;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience
• MS Office knowledge required
• Must obtain CADS within 1 year from hire date

The position of EMSDispatcheris responsible forcommunications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patients requiring transportation services to and/or from a Baptist Healthcare facility.They maintain overall accuracy and expediency of collating documentation.They mustmaintaincurrent knowledge of EPIC software along with specialized products related to EMS patient care reporting.This positionis responsible forthe integrity of dataregardingthe System Service Center EMS Dispatch Center. Theymust practice outstandingskillat protecting PHI and have exemplary communication and prioritization skills.

Requirements

• * Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date
