The role involves coordinating communications with EMS crews for transportation to and from Baptist Health facilities, while ensuring accurate and timely documentation and protecting patient information. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with EMT education preferred and a minimum of 1 year dispatch experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; EMT education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products.
• Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patients requiring transportation.
• Maintain accuracy and expediency of documenting EMS activities and information.
• Protect PHI and ensure data integrity within the System Service Center EMS Dispatch Center.
• Maintain current knowledge of EPIC software and EMS patient care reporting tools.
