911 Emergency Communications is seeking Emergency Medical Dispatchers to support urgent medical assistance requests. In this role you will gather patient and incident details, establish response priorities, and coordinate EMS resources according to approved protocols.

Depending on training and assignment, you may provide pre-arrival instructions and must follow employer oversight requirements. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent is commonly required.
• CPR certification is required; EMT or paramedic credentials may be required depending on vacancy; consult the vacancy for exact qualifications and accepted providers.

Responsabilidades

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies
• Confirm the patient’s location, callback number, and access details
• Ask approved questions about the patient’s condition
• Determine response priority through the authorized medical dispatch system
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources when included in the assignment
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responding personnel
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities
