The Town of Estes Park seeks an EMS Dispatcher to handle emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch police, fire and medical services, and monitor responding units. The role requires coordinated communication with multiple agencies and adherence to protocols.

During training you will be supervised and may progress to leadership and trainer roles. Must reside within the Estes Park area per policy and be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• One year of experience in customer service, dispatcher, communications or related field.
• Must complete CTO Training Program.

Responsabilités

• Take emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch appropriate services.
• Obtain complete information to determine urgency and need for dispatch.
• Enter all calls into CAD and maintain logs and records.
• Coordinate multi-agency communications across channels.
• Provide instruction when responding to emergencies as per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and continuing education hours.
