Qualifications

• Must have and maintain CPR for the professional Rescuer (AHA or equivalent). EMT, medical terminology or similar medical background preferred.
• Ability to operate communication equipment to receive calls and dispatch personnel and equipment.
• Strong multi-tasking and keyboarding skills to support CAD and map street search workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate communication equipment to receive incoming calls for assistance and dispatch personnel and equipment.
• Schedule and coordinate non-emergency transports for ambulance and wheelchair divisions.
• Obtain information to facilitate insurance or payment processes.
• Perform keyboarding tasks for CAD, map street searches, and filing.
• Attend communications staff meetings as requested.
