Qualifications

• Typing speed 35 wpm or higher.

• Learn policies and procedures for facilities and when to apply them.
• Medical background is a plus.
• 2–3 weeks of training required.
• EMD certification provided within 1 year of employment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and direct calls for the company.
• Distinguish the need for emergency transportation.
• Pre-arrange transport for facilities and determine required level of care.
• Arrange specialty and critical care transportation.
• Provide information and assistance for customer service inquiries.
• Communicate with multiple departments and EMS personnel.
• Provide supportive information to assist in arranging transport.
• Develop effective solutions for customer service issues.
• Direct calls to Flight Desk as appropriate.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
