Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. seeks Paramedics to deliver high-quality emergency medical services across multiple Illinois locations, including Elmhurst, Oak Lawn, Des Plaines, Schaumburg and others.

You will provide patient care per training, safely transport patients, and document conditions and treatments for billing and medical records. Requirements include NREMT or state license, valid driver's license with a clean record, and ability to work in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) or current state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and must be able to safely operate a vehicle in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in training as a Paramedic.
• Provide safe transportation and accurate address discernment for expedient routing.
• Assess a patient and convey condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide accurate written reports of patient condition, medical history and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor all fluid levels and gauges.
