Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an EMS education coordinator to oversee the medical control program for pre-hospital providers, including Life Flight. You will participate in QA, educational activities, and research, delivering reports on control calls and performance improvements.

Candidates may be Paramedic or RN, with required BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications and relevant instructor credentials; travel to MetroHealth EMS sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Must meet requirements for either Paramedic or RN as listed.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• ACLS and PALS Instructor certification or must obtain within 1 year of hire for Paramedic path.
• Experience in pre-hospital educational activities and performance improvement.
• Willing to travel to other MetroHealth EMS sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the medical control program for pre-hospital providers (EMS and Life Flight).
• Participate in QA, education, public relations, and research activities for the ED and Life Flight.
• Provide summary statistics and reports on medical control calls and performance improvement.
• Uphold The MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
