Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an EMT-Paramedic to deliver direct patient care under physician direction and RN assignment at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Ohio EMT-Paramedic certification.
• Complete Intermediate EKG test within three months of hire.
• PALS certification within six months of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician and RN supervision.
• Perform administrative, clerical, and clinical duties as assigned.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Document care reflecting the patient’s condition, treatment, and response to care.
