Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans seeks a nurse/EMR workflow specialist to bridge clinical practice and digital strategy. You will collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to design, evaluate, and optimize workflows that improve care delivery, documentation quality, and patient safety through EMR solutions.

You will support build, testing, and implementation and provide hands-on end-user guidance to ensure technology is used accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
3 years progressive clinical/healthcare experience with demonstrated leadership on teams or projects.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Team-oriented with self-motivation and self-discipline.
Detail-focused with ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Support the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of EMR systems and other technology, focusing on best practices and evidence-based workflows.
Provide input on linking practice guidelines to electronic records.
Assist with documentation and decision-support tools to ensure consistency.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, students, staff, vendors, and the public.
Assist in developing standards for assessment and implementation of applications and systems.
Leverage data to analyze EHR usage, identify pain points, and design targeted education and optimization plans.
